An independent rare-answer trivia game. 7 prompts per run, 25 seconds each, one typed answer apiece, scored by how rare the answer is. There is no daily cap and no account.

Independent, and specific about it

This site is fan-made and independently operated. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the publisher of any other trivia game. It has its own question bank, its own answer sets and its own scoring. Nothing here is copied from another game, and no other game's data is used to run it.

What is in the bank right now

58 prompts, each with a hand-built answer set that runs from the answers everybody gives to the ones almost nobody does. Every answer carries a rarity weight computed from measurement rather than judgement, which is documented on the scoring page. The bank grows; new prompts appear in future dives rather than being inserted into dives that have already aired, so the archive stays accurate.

Why misses are free

Because the interesting decision in this format is whether to gamble, and punishing a wrong answer removes the gamble. If a miss cost points, the safe answer would always be correct and the game would collapse into ordinary trivia.

How it is built

A Next.js application. Prompt selection and answer scoring run on the server, so the answer sets are never sent to your browser — which is also why a run needs a connection. Your logbook of best depth and dives played is stored in your own browser and is not sent anywhere.

Corrections

Answer sets are the hard part and they are never finished. If a correct answer was refused, that is a gap, not a judgement — see the contact page.
